Soul Fuel: A Night of Drumming, Art, and Celebration

Drums and rhythm are natural tools that have been used since ancient times, representing the heartbeat of the Earth and a bridge between the human and spirit world. Numerous studies show the many therapeutic benefits of using drumming to enhance learning and cognitive functions, as well as an expansive amount of health and wellness benefits. Break through limitations, remove emotional wounds, connect with your heart’s guidance and intuition, liberate your inner child, have fun and play, experience connection with others, and ignite your higher self with drumming in this supportive space.

As an experienced facilitator of drum circles and rhythm events, Heather DeRigo has been a professional DCF (Drum Circle Facilitator) since 2008 working with leading drumming organizations before creating YOUniversal Rhythms in 2011. Drumming is a powerful tool for transformation and she believes that rhythm is natural and innate within everyone. She is dedicated to uplifting and empowering others and knows how to break through barriers and unify an audience. High-quality green and clean drums provided, no drumming or music experience required.

After the drumming experience, we’ll celebrate April birthdays, including this special day for Krystina, Inner Heights Meditation founder, with dessert and tea time. Then we’ll cap off the night with some time for art therapy and make collages. We’ll focus on the theme of manifesting the life you deserve and let go of limiting beliefs. Art supplies provided, just bring an openness to connect with your creative self. Krystina Steffen is a collage artist and meditation instructor and is honored to be your guide for mindful art creations. She teaches students of all ages with practical and easy-to-incorporate strategies that Krystina has learned directly from Deepak Chopra, Roger Gabriel, and Sadhguru, as well as her travels around the world to some of the most creative cities in the world, including San Francisco where she went to college.

Inner Heights Meditation is located on a 3.5 acre nature oasis so you can enjoy serene retreat vibes out in the country yet be oh so close to downtown Tampa. Workshop will take place in the meditation studio meets art gallery and follow best practices for social distancing for a fun and safe event.
